Mary Kate Jamison
CHILLOSOPHY founder & teacher

Mary Kate is a multi-passionate educator and perpetual student. She read her first book on the great philosophers when she was 12, and she has been adventuring for answers ever since. MK has been practicing yoga for 18 years, but really committed her energy and passion to yoga when she began her teacher training in 2019. Since graduating from the 200hr program at Tula Institute of Yoga, she has gone on to receive special teacher trainings in Meditation & Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, and Yin Yoga. As the Founder of CHILLOSOPHY, she cares greatly about sharing the gifts that finding the right yoga practice can bring to any student in all aspects of their life. She has found so much joy, so much more courage, and a depth of connection to self and spirit through these practices. She would love to guide you in finding or rediscovering your voice, your depth, your body, your self through yoga, meditation, and philosophy.

MK is also a trained scuba instructor, technical diver, whitewater guide, and heartfelt ocean advocate. When out of the studio you'll find her exploring outside with her husband Chris, their two amazing kids Jack & Brody (proud bonus mom!), and pupper Billie.

In gratitude -

Danielle Mason

CHILLOSOPHY teacher

Danielle took her first yoga class in high school, but it wasn’t until 2013 when she was going through a particularly hard time in life that she really dove into her practice. The first studio community she became a part of was Grace & Glory Yoga, close to her hometown in South Jersey. The studio was a Power Yoga studio. Though it was rigorous and at times hard physically, it was the mental freedom she began to feel that called her to obtain her own teaching certification through GGY and share this knowledge with others. “What I love about power yoga is that it pushes me to my edge, and I can choose how to show up for myself and respond. I’ve learned to listen to my body and find an inner strength that empowers me not only on the mat, but in every aspect of my life. It’s something I want to give to others.” As an advocate for mental health, she enjoys challenging people to push beyond their limiting beliefs and trust themselves, believe in themselves and use the tools of a yoga practice to calm stress and anxiety.

Danielle has her 200 hour teaching certification along with a 30 hour kids yoga certification and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certification. She currently resides in Newry, ME with her boyfriend Eddie and cats Clarice & Zelda. She enjoys hiking, being out in nature, camping, baking/cooking and absolutely loves gardening.

Catalina Sposato

CHILLOSOPHY teacher

Catalina fell in love with yoga during a period of transition in her life and found the practice created a form of beautiful stability for her. She finds joy in motivating students to challenge themselves physically while encouraging them to be mentally present. One of her favorite things about the practice of yoga is that it’s ever-evolving - there is no such thing as “perfect” but continued practice evokes constant growth. Her goal is for students to leave her class feeling restored with an enhanced feeling of connection to self. She completed her yoga teacher training at the Portland Yoga Project and enjoys focusing on safe practices that are geared towards building self-confidence and mindfulness.

Destinee Hurson

CHILLOSOPHY teacher

Destinee began her practice taking Yoga-101 in college in 2011 and what she assumed was just another elective to fulfill, turned into a lifelong love and passion. After moving to Maine in 2018 she traveled to Rishikesh, India - the birth place of yoga - to receive her teaching certification and deepen her own practice. The physical aspect of yoga is what brought her to the mat but the mental and spiritual benefits are what keep her there.

Vinyasa is her passion and in her classes you can expect to use pranayama and asana in unison to create a harmonious and continuous flow. She offers a creative and adaptable approach, inclusive to all levels, allowing practitioners to explore various sequences while fostering a deeper connection between breath, body, and mind. Her aim is to help students build strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness through meditative movement that can be implemented on and off the mat.

Off the mat you can find her skiing at Sunday River, paddling in the local lakes and rivers, or enjoying her time with her partner, her family, and her two dogs.

Adrianna Devine

CHILLOSOPHY teacher

Adrianna is a passionate yoga instructor and lifelong student committed to creating transformative experiences for practitioners of all levels. Certified through her 200-hour YTT in 2016, she brings over a decade of personal yoga practice to her teaching.

In her classes, Addy weaves together breath-work, asana, energy healing, and mindfulness to create a deeply somatic experience. Her focus is not only on the physical postures but inviting intuitive movement and trust that your body will lead you there. Her aim is to guide students towards a deeper devotion to their practice on and off the mat.

Outside the studio, Adrianna finds inspiration in reiki, meditation, and connecting with nature through long walks and river plunges.

Jude Stratus

CHILLOSOPHY teacher

Jude (they/them) is a massage therapist, bodyworker, yoga teacher, and movement enthusiast. For the last 15 years, they have diligently followed a thread of special interest in anatomy, kinesiology, somatics, embodiment, dance, form, and context.

They attended their first yoga class in college, and quickly discovered a practice that allowed them rest from the stress and dissociation from everyday life. Yoga offered a format for self-discovery and an evolving tool for dismantling harm, both personal and systemic, in our everyday life. For them, yoga is a constant practice of principles, exploration, acceptance, and rigor.

Their yoga classes and personal practice are inspired from the principles of body neutrality, physical accessibility, and play. They strongly believe that having a kind relationship to your body and place to move with it are fundamental rights, not exclusive to people who look a particular way or have particular physical abilities. They hope that their classes leave you feeling welcomed, seen, accepted, and connected.
